The amazing stats behind Messi, Suarez and Neymar's deadly partnership

Tuesday October 25 marks the two-year anniversary of the Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar - collectively and affectionately known as MSN - playing their first game together, against eternal rivals Real Madrid.

Barca were beaten 3-1 by their Clasico nemesis on that occasion in 2014, despite Neymar giving the Catalans an early lead. However, the trio have since proved one of the most deadly attacks in European football.

Since that fixture, Barcelona have scored 367 goals in all competitions - 264 of those have been scored by either Lionel Messi, Neymar or Luis Suarez. The trio have all scored in the same game on 16 occasions - that equates to 72 goals.

Barca have won 81.3 per cent of their games in which MSN have featured in the starting XI, while in the Champions League they have scored 83.3% of the club's goals - 50 out of the overall total of 60.

Only Real Madrid (296) & Paris Saint-Germain (270) have scored more goals than MSN (264) in all competitions among teams from the top 5 European leagues since October 25,2014.

Of the three, Messi has scored the most goals with 104, with Suarez netting 94 and Neymar 66. Suarez tops the assists rankings, though, with 48 - one more than Messi's 47 and well above Neymar's 34.

All in all, MSN's tally breaks down into 229 La Liga goals, 61 in the Copa del Rey and 60 in the Champions League. A further six came in the Supercopa, six in the FIFA Club World Cup and three in the European Super Cup.
