After month away from “kitchen and the other room”, Aisha Buhari returns to Nigeria (PICS)

The wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, was seen at the British Airways Lounge in Heathrow, as she awaited her flight from London to Abuja last night.

The president’s wife was accompanied by Mrs Toyin Saraki, the wife of the Senate president Bukola Saraki, and another lady at Heathrow airport VIP lounge as she waited for her flight back to Nigeria last night. 

Mrs Buhari left Nigeria for the 71st United Nations General Assembly alongside her husband, which started on September 19, comes to an end on September 23. His wife and two daughters listened to President Buhari’s address at the opening ceremony in New York.

Some Nigerians criticised the First Family saying that the president was “on a honeymoon with his family”. 

After returning from USA to England Mrs Buhari was sighted in London last week travelling to Brussels to attend an African women’s forum. 

Buhari’s wife gave opening remarks on the theme “Women’s Role In Global Security.” Consequently, Mrs Buhari returned Nigeria after spending more than a month abroad.
